Mapping Insurance Plans

AcuityLogic includes a set of preconfigured insurance carriers and plans. You must map insurance carriers and plans in AcuityLogic Admin before they are available in AcuityLogic POS.

To map insurance plans

  1. Open the Insurance Mapping window. See Opening the Insurance Mapping window.
  2. To search for a specific insurance carrier, select a carrier or enter the carrier name in the Carrier Name drop-down list and click Find.
  3. Click the Plans link for a carrier to view all plans available for the carrier.

  4. To search for a specific plan, select a plan or type the plan name in the Plan Name drop-down list and click Find.
  5. Select the Include check box for the plan that you want to map.
    If the plan you want to map is not available for the selected carrier, you can map the Unknown plan if it is available in the list of plans for that carrier. Unknown plans are set up in the AcuityLogic Cloud insurance database as manual plans.
  6. Click OK in the message window that opens to create a plan schedule of the selected plan for your practice.
  7. Click Version 1 in the Schedule Name table for the plan that you mapped.
