Mapping the Manual OptumHealth Vision (Spectera) Insurance Plan

If you have not previously mapped the manual OptumHealth Vision (Spectera) insurance plan in AcuityLogic Admin, Eyefinity recommends that you map it to allow users to continue processing eyeglass and contact lens orders manually in AcuityLogic POS.

If you have previously mapped the manual OptumHealth Vision (Spectera) insurance plan, you can direct users to begin using it on October 1, 2016.

To map the manual OptumHealth Vision (Spectera) insurance plan

  1. In AcuityLogic Admin, click Company and select Company Setup.

    The Company Information window opens.

  2. Click the Ins. Mapping link.

    The Insurance Mapping window opens.

  3. Select or type Spectera (OptumHealth Vision) in the Carrier Name field and click Find.
  4. Click the Plans link to view all plans available.

    The Insurance Plan Mapping window opens.

  5. Select or type Spectera Manual Plan in the Plan Name field and click Find.
  6. Select the Include check box for the manual Spectera Plan.
  7. Click OK in the message window that opens to create a plan schedule for the plan.
  8. Click the Version 1 link in the Schedule Name column.

    The Insurance Schedule Version window opens.

  9. Select or type 10/1/2016 in the Start Date field.
  10. Select or type an end date in the Termination Date field.
    You can set the end date for the schedule to the date you want AcuityLogic POS users to stop using the manual OptumHealth Vision (Spectera) insurance plan. If you are unsure when the insurance schedule modifications will be complete, you can set an estimated date now and change the end date at a later time.
  11. Click Save & Return.
    You do not have to update the insurance schedule details for the manual OptumHealth Vision (Spectera) insurance plan.
