Setting Up Appointment Services

You can select which service types you want to be able to schedule in the Scheduler. You can assign a color to each service type so that when you schedule an appointment in the Scheduler, the appointment is highlighted with the color assigned to it. You can assign the same color to multiple service types. This section explains how to set up custom appointment colors.

Topics include the following:

  1. Open the Company Offices window. See Opening the Company Offices Window.
  2. Click the Setup link.

    The Service and Appointment Color Setup window opens.

  3. Select the Available check box for each service type that you want available to be scheduled.
  4. Select a color from the Color drop-down list for each service type that you want available to be scheduled.
    If you do not select a color, the Appt Default color you set up in Appointment Scheduler preferences is assigned to the service type. See Setting Up Appointment Scheduler Preferences.
  5. Click Done to save your changes and close the window.
  1. Open the Company Offices window. See Opening the Company Offices Window.
  2. Click the Setup link.

    The Service and Appointment Color Setup window opens.

  3. Click Copy Services.
  4. Select the offices you want to copy the service types to from the To Office drop-down list.
  5. Click Copy.

    The window closes.
