Adding Notes to Appointments in Book View in AcuityLogic BackOffice

This topic explains how to add notes to appointments in Book View of the AcuityLogic BackOffice Scheduler.

You can add notes to all appointments. Notes added to appointments can also be viewed in the patient’s profile.

The color of the “N” in the Note icon indicates the note status:

Note Icon Color Description

Blue

The appointment has no notes.

Green

The appointment has at least one note but does not have any urgent or follow-up notes.

Red

The appointment has at least one urgent or follow-up note.

To add a note to an appointment in Book View

  1. Open Book View. See To open Book View and search for availability.
  2. In the Actions column, click the Patient Notes icon ().

    The Appointment Notes window opens and displays any existing notes.

    If the patient has two or more appointments scheduled, only the notes added to the selected appointment appear in the Appointment Notes window. To view the notes for another appointment, open the Appointment Notes windows for that exam.
  3. In the Note Detail field, enter a note if necessary.
  4. Select the Urgent or Followup check boxes if necessary.
  5. Click Save to close the window.
