Putting Claims on Hold
This section explains how to put claims on hold in AcuityLogic Billing.
You can put a claim on hold only if one or more line items are in a status that can be placed on hold.

To put a single claim on hold
You can put a claim on hold from your claim search results or from the Claim Detail window.
- Search for a claim. See Searching for Claims.
- Put the claim on hold by using one of the following methods:
- From the Action drop-down list for the claim, select On Hold.
- Open the Claim Detail window for the claim, and click On Hold. See To open the claim detail window.
To put multiple claims on hold
You can put multiple claims on hold from the Search Claims window.
If your search returns more than one page of claims, place the claims on the current page on hold before navigating to a different page.
- Search for a claim. See Searching for Claims.
- Select the check boxes for the claims, and click On Hold.
- In the Change Status window, click Yes, On Hold.
