Sending Stock Transfers in AcuityLogic POS
You can create and send stock transfers from the Stock Transfer window when you want to transfer inventory items to a different office or distribution center location.
To send stock transfers
- Open the Stock Transfer window. See Opening the Stock Transfer Window in AcuityLogic POS.
- Click Add Stock Transfer.
- Select the type of item you want to transfer in the Item Type drop-down list.
- Select the office you want to transfer the item to in the Transfer to Office drop-down list.
- Select a reason for the stock transfer in the Transfer Reason drop-down list.The transfer reasons available are set up in AcuityLogic Admin.
- Enter notes for the stock transfer in the Notes field, if needed.
- Click the OK icon () to create the stock transfer.
- Click Add Detail to add items to the stock transfer.
- Add items to the stock transfer using one of the following methods:
- Click the Lookup icon and use the search criteria on the Stock Item Search window to select an item.
AcuityLogic populates the details for the selected item.
- Click inside the UPC Code field and scan the bar code or enter the UPC code for an item you have in stock.
AcuityLogic populates the details for the scanned item.
- Click the Lookup icon and use the search criteria on the Stock Item Search window to select an item.
- Enter the item quantity in the Quantity field.
- Click the OK icon () to add the item to the stock transfer.
- Repeat steps 8–12 for each item you want to add to the stock transfer.
- Click the Print icon and click OK in the dialog box that opens to print the Stock Transfer Report and to send the stock transfer.
AcuityLogic changes the Order Status to Sent and updates your inventory count for the items you transferred.
- Click the Notes icon next to a stock transfer to review the notes added.
- You can edit or delete stock transfers when the status is Open. Click the Edit icon next to a stock transfer to make changes, or click the Delete icon to delete the transfer.
