Updating Order Status for Individual Orders
You can update the order status of individual patient orders from the Orders tab of a patient’s profile.
To update the order status for individual orders
- Open a patient profile. See Opening Patient Profiles.
- Click the Orders tab.
The patient’s order information displays.
- Select one of the following options from the Actions drop-down list next to an order:
- Select Receive to indicate that the patient order has been received.
- Select Notify to indicate that the patient has been notified that their order is ready.
- Select Deliver to indicate that the order has been delivered to the patient.
- Confirm the status update in the window that opens.
