Updating Order Status for Individual Orders

You can update the order status of individual patient orders from the Orders tab of a patient’s profile.

To update the order status for individual orders

  1. Open a patient profile. See Opening Patient Profiles.
  2. Click the Orders tab.

    The patient’s order information displays.

  3. Select one of the following options from the Actions drop-down list next to an order:
    • Select Receive to indicate that the patient order has been received.
    • Select Notify to indicate that the patient has been notified that their order is ready.
    • Select Deliver to indicate that the order has been delivered to the patient.
  4. Confirm the status update in the window that opens.
