Fixed Issues

AcuityLogic 8.9 fixes issues in the following areas:

Billing

  • When you export claims to Excel from the Search Claims window, you can now sort by the data in the Ins Receivable, Pat Receivable, and Paid Amount columns.

POS

  • If you apply an insurance plan with the Valid Labs Rule special option method to an order and an invalid lab is selected, AcuityLogic now prevents the insurance from being applied to the order. Previously, AcuityLogic did not prevent the insurance from being applied if Discount was selected as the plan type in Admin.
  • If you apply an insurance plan with the Material Copay special option method to an order and the method uses the % Of Allowance or % Of Receivable copay type, the copay amount is now calculated correctly for the order. Previously, no copay amount was calculated for the order.
  • The responsible party information recorded in a patient's profile is no longer updated when you add a new insurance plan for the patient and the subscriber differs from the current responsible party. Previously, the responsible party for the patient was incorrectly changed to the subscriber for the new insurance plan.
  • In the signature section at the bottom of the Credit Refund report, the misspelled word "creditted" is now fixed in the following statement: "I authorize the total amount to be credited to card according to cardholder's and merchant's agreement."
