Tracking Productivity in AcuityLogic BackOffice
You can view productivity for an employee, selected offices, or all offices for a specified time period and export the a productivity report to print. This section explains how to track employee or office productivity.
Topics include the following:
- Click KPI and select Productivity.
The Productivity window opens.
- From the Summary Type drop-down list, select By Associate.
- To specify the period to view data for, select one of the following options:
- Select DateRange: Use the calendar icons to specify the period's start and end dates.
- Select Month: Use the calendar icons to select a month and year.
- In the Last and First fields, enter the employee's last and first names.
To search for all employees, leave the fields blank.
- To search for active and inactive employees, deselect the Active check box.
The check box is selected by default and AcuityLogic searches for active employees only.
- Click Find.
The employees that meet the search criteria are displayed.
- Click Select next to an employee.
The Productivity popup window opens.
For each productivity category set up for your company, the search results include the following:
- The total number of sales in the productivity category that were finalized by the employee during the following time periods:
- The specified period
- The same period for the previous year
- Year-to-date (YTD) for the selected and previous year
- The percentage that total represents of sales finalized by the employee during the same period for the productivity category’s percent category.Typically, the products in a productivity category are a subset of the products in a percent category. For example, a Standard AR Coating productivity category might be associated with a Total AR Coating percent category.
- The total number of sales in the productivity category that were finalized by the employee during the following time periods:
- To see a list of transactions that qualified as key performance indicators (KPIs), click a category name.
For each transaction, the list includes the transaction and order numbers, date, quantity, transaction type, and patient names.
- To see details about a transaction, click its transaction number.
Details include the patient’s medical condition, an overview of the transaction (discounts, copays, taxes, and so on), and the applicable insurance plan.
- To see a list of items in the transaction and their financial details, click the transaction ID.
- To return to the Productivity popup window, click Return in each popup window.
- Click KPI and select Productivity.
The Productivity window opens.
- From the Summary Type drop-down list, select one of the following options:
- By Office: Shows productivity for one or more offices by office.
- By All Offices: Shows productivity for all offices combined.
- To specify the period to view data for, select one of the following options:
- Select DateRange: Use the calendar icons to specify the period's start and end dates.
- Select Month: Use the calendar icons to select a month and year.
- If you selected By Office in step 2, select the check boxes for one or more offices from the Office drop-down list. All offices are selected by default. To select individual offices, deselect the All check box.
- Click Search.
The Productivity popup window opens.
- If you selected By Office in step 2, navigate between offices using the Previous Office and Next Office links at the top of the window.
- If you selected By All Offices in step 2, the total productivity for all offices are shown.
For each productivity category set up for your company, the search results include the following:
- The total number of sales in the productivity category that were finalized by the office or offices during the following time periods:

- To export the data to a report, select one of the following options:
- Print: Generates a PDF version of the Productivity report (KPICommission.pdf).
- ExportToExcel: Generates an Excel version of the Productivity report (KPICommission.xls).
