Creating and Sending Stock Transfers in AcuityLogic DC

You can create and send stock transfers when you want to transfer inventory items to a different location.

To create and send stock transfers

  1. Click Stock and select Stock Transfer.

    The Stock Transfer window opens.

  2. Click Add Stock Transfer.
  3. Select Frame or Accessory from the Item Type drop-down list. AcuityLogic currently does not support stock transfers for contact lenses.
  4. Select the office you want to transfer the item to in the Transfer to Office drop-down list.
  5. Select a reason for the stock transfer in the Transfer Reason drop-down list.

    The transfer reasons available are set up in AcuityLogic Admin.

  6. Enter notes in the Notes field, if needed.
  7. Click the OK (green check mark) icon to create the stock transfer.
  8. To add an item to the transfer, follow the process below:
    1. Click Add Detail.
    2. Click the Lookup icon to search for the item or click inside the UPC Code field and scan the barcode or enter the UPC code for the item. Depending on your configuration, the barcode represents the UPC or item number.

      AcuityLogic populates the item details.

    3. Enter the item quantity in the Quantity field.
    4. Click the OKicon (green check mark).
      Do not select the Check here to replenish this item check box. The check box is not used.
  9. Click the Print icon and click OK in the dialog box that opens to send the stock transfer and to generate the Stock Transfer Report to print.

    AcuityLogic changes the order status to Sent.

  10. Click the Print Labels icon to generate labels to print and include with the transfer.
