Reviewing Inventory Adjustments in AcuityLogic DC

AcuityLogic automatically adds inventory adjustments when necessary to account for variations in inventory levels. For example, AcuityLogic adds an inventory adjustment for a frame after you post the inventory count to account for the difference between the system on-hand quantity and the actual count recorded during a physical inventory session.

This topic explains how to review the details of automatic and manual inventory adjustments in the Inventory Adjustments window.

To review inventory adjustments

  1. Click Inventory and select Adjustments.

    The Inventory Adjustments window opens.

  2. Select Frame or Accessory from the Item Type drop-down list. AcuityLogic currently does not support inventory for contact lenses.
  3. If necessary, enter or select the inventory adjustment date in the Date field.

The inventory adjustments that meet your search criteria are displayed.

  4. To view additional information for an inventory adjustment, click the Expand (+) icon.
  5. To view notes about the inventory adjustment, click the Notes icon. Notes for an adjustment added by AcuityLogic indicate it was an automatic adjustment.
