Understanding Stock Order Types

Patient Order (Auto) stock orders are created for AcuityLogic POS patient orders when users select an internal distribution center as the frame supply source. AcuityLogic sends Patient Order (Auto) stock orders after users invoice the orders in AcuityLogic POS.

Patient Order (Auto) stock orders are created only if the Create Patient Stock Order DC Provided office attribute is selected in AcuityLogic Admin. See Setting Up Office Information.

Replenish (Auto) stock orders are created for AcuityLogic POS patient orders in the following situations when the replenishment rule set up in AcuityLogic Admin is met:

• Users select Enclosed as the frame supply source.
• Users add a frame to a miscellaneous order.
• Users add a frame to an order in the Pricing window.

AcuityLogic sends Replenish (Auto) stock orders as part of the nightly day close integration. Users can also send Replenish (Auto) stock orders manually in AcuityLogic POS.
