Order Status Definitions
Hold
The order is completed and saved, but not yet priced. There is no impact to sales/inventory. You cannot print lab orders for orders on hold.
Priced
The order is priced, but not yet invoiced. There is no impact to sales/inventory. You cannot print lab orders for priced orders.
Ready
The eyeglass order is invoiced, but not yet sent to the lab. You can void orders when the status is ready.
Voided
The eyeglass order is canceled. You cannot void an order that has already been sent to the lab.
Lab on Hold
The eyeglass order is invoiced, but not sent to the lab because the user selected not to send it to the lab yet. You can edit the prescription for the order when the status is lab on hold.
In Process
The eyeglass order is invoiced and has been sent to the lab.
Received
The order has been received from the lab.
Notified
The patient has been notified that their order is ready.
Delivered
The order has been delivered to the patient.
Remade
The order has been remade and is now linked to a new order. The sale for the products in the order has been reversed.
Returned
The order has been returned to the store.
Merchandise Drop
The order has not been picked up by the patient and the order’s balance was written off. For reporting, sales and receivables are reduced by the balance that was written off.
Reinstate Drop
The order that was merchandise dropped has been reinstated. Any payment previously paid, excluding the cost of services, is refunded to the patient as customer credit.
Collections
The order’s balance has been sent to collections.
