VisionWeb Error Messages
If you select the lab with the Automatic Orders suffix, AcuityLogic checks your order against the values and ranges in the VisionWeb system as you progress through the lab order tabs (Lenses, Frames, and so on). If AcuityLogic finds no problems with your order after all comparisons are completed, the order is sent automatically to the lab through VisionWeb.
If AcuityLogic finds a problem with the order, a message appears to inform you of the problem. At that time, you can either select the lab with the Manual Orders suffix and send the order manually, or modify the order.
This section includes information about the following error messages:
Prescription Out of Range
If the prescription entered for a lens is out of the range established for that lens, the following message appears:
The selected lens cannot be submitted to the lab automatically due to prescription values being out of range. Select another lens or select another lab to make this order.
Eyefinity recommends that you check with the lab to see if they can make the order as is. If the lab cannot make the order, select another lens. If the lab can make the order as is, select the lab with the Manual Orders suffix and manually send the order to the lab by fax or phone.
Missing Lab Codes
If the lens selected on the order has no corresponding lens in VisionWeb, the following message appears:
The selected lens cannot be submitted to the lab automatically due to missing lab codes. Select another lens or select another lab to make this order.
Eyefinity recommends that you check with the lab to see if they can make the order as is. If the lab cannot make the order, select another lens. If the lab can make the order as is, select the lab with the Manual Orders suffix and manually send the order to the lab by fax or phone.
Invalid or Missing Measurements
If the selected frame has invalid measurements or is missing measurements, the following message appears:
This order cannot be submitted to the lab automatically due to incorrect frame measurements. Call your DC to have the frame corrected or select another lab to make this order.
Select different frame measurements or add the missing measurements. After valid and complete measurements are entered in AcuityLogic, you can continue with the order.
