Deleting Billing Rules

You can delete billing rules that have not been used on a claim.

  • If you no longer want to use billing rules that have been used on a claim, you can deactivate them. See Deactivating Billing Rules.
  • For multitenant environments, the following setup must be completed for each company. The parent company setup is not automatically applied to individual companies.

To delete billing rules

  1. Search for the billing rule you want to delete. See Searching for Billing Rules.
  2. Click the Delete link for the billing rule you want to delete.
  3. In the confirmation message, click OK.
    If the billing rule has been used on a claim, AcuityLogic displays a message indicating the billing rule cannot be deleted and asks if you want to change the ending date. Click OK to change the ending date to yesterday’s date to deactivate the billing rule, or click Cancel to return to your search results.
