Mapping Manufacturers for the Contact Lens Interface

Mapping manufacturer names enables your opticians to select your manufacturers on an order, and AcuityLogic will translate the order to manufacturer names that the supplier can understand.

For multitenant environments, the following setup can be performed only by administrators of the parent company and is required only for the parent company. The parent company setup applies to all companies.

To map manufacturers for the contact lens interface

  1. In AcuityLogic Admin, click Product, select Contact Lens, and select Manufacturer.

  2. Locate a manufacturer that you use, and click the Supplier Manufacturer link.

    The Supplier Manufacturer window opens.

  3. Click the Map Manufacturer link.
  4. From the Supplier drop-down list, select the contact lens supplier.
  5. In the Supplier Manufacturer field, enter the name that the contact lens supplier uses for the manufacturer.
    Either Eyefinity or your contact lens supplier will give you a list of manufacturers. If the Supplier Manufacturer is not entered exactly as it appears on the list, the contact lens supplier will not understand which product you are ordering.
  6. Click the Insert link.
  7. Click Save.
  8. Repeat steps 3–7 for each manufacturer.
