Setting Up Internal Notifications

You can set up e-mail notifications to automatically send to specified employees when certain actions, such as voids or price adjustments, occur in AcuityLogic. To send and receive internal notifications, you must configure SMTP settings. See Setting Up Company Information.

For multitenant environments, the following setup must be completed for each company. The parent company setup is not automatically applied to individual companies.

To set up internal notifications

  1. Open the Company Information window. See To open the Company Information window.
  2. Click the Notifications link for your company.
  3. Click Add Company Notification to add a new notification.

    OR

    Click the Edit link to modify an existing notification.

    The Company Notifications fields are displayed.

  4. Select an action that triggers the notification from the Message Trigger drop-down list.
  5. Enter a message in the Message field.
    Click and drag the lower-right corner of the field to resize it.
  6. Enter the e-mail address of the receiver in the Email Address field.
  7. Click the Insert icon to save the notification.
