Setting Up Manual Mode for TMS
You can set up AcuityLogic to process credit card transactions in manual mode. Manual mode allows you to process credit card transactions using the Ingenico iCT220 Terminal as a standalone device.
- You must also set the Ingenico iCT220 Terminal to standalone mode before you can use it to process credit card transactions. For information on setting the Ingenico iCT220 Terminal to standalone mode, refer to the documentation provided by TMS or contact your TMS account representative.
- There is no interaction between AcuityLogic and the Ingenico iCT220 Terminal in manual mode. Users must enter credit card information in AcuityLogic POS manually.
- After you set up AcuityLogic to process credit card transactions in manual mode, any users logged in to AcuityLogic POS must log out and close their web browser before the changes take effect.
- For multitenant environments, the following setup must be completed for each company. The parent company setup is not automatically applied to individual companies.
To set up manual mode for TMS
- In AcuityLogic Admin, click Company and select Company Setup.
The Company Information window opens.
- Click the Offices link for your company.
The Office window opens.
- Click the link for the office that you want to process credit card transactions in manual mode in the Office # column.
The Office Information window opens.
- Select Manual in the Credit Card Process Type drop-down list.
- Deselect the No Credit Card Validation check box.
- Click Save.
- Repeat steps 3–6 for each office that you want to process credit card transactions in manual mode.
