Setting Up Shipping Methods for ABB/Fait/CLX

Before you can add shipping methods to contact lens orders in AcuityLogic POS, you must set them up in AcuityLogic Admin. To set up shipping methods, you must ensure that each shipping method you want to make available is active, mapped correctly, and priced.

  • To enable AcuityLogic to group patient orders being sent to an office into stock orders by shipping method, you must map the methods to the mapping code provided by your ABB representative.
  • To enable AcuityLogic to assign the correct shipping code to orders with no shipping method, Eyefinity recommends that you configure one shipping method that starts with “Standard." You must assign the ABB mapping code to this shipping method, but you do not have to make the shipping method active.
  • By default, AcuityLogic cannot group patient orders being sent to an office into stock orders by shipping method. After you set up shipping methods, contact Eyefinity support to enable that functionality. After it is enabled, you must deselect the Auto Send CL Patient Office Orders check box on the Company Information window. See Setting Up Company Attributes for ABB/Fait/CLX Integration.
  • For multitenant environments, the following procedure can be performed only by administrators of the parent company. The price entered for shipping methods applies to the parent company only. Pricing for individual companies can be entered from the product mapping window. See Setting Up Other Product Items for Individual Companies.

To set up shipping methods for ABB,CLX, or Fait

  1. In AcuityLogic Admin, click Product and select Other Items.
  2. Select Shipping in the Item Type drop-down list.

    The available shipping methods appear.

    To create a shipping method, click Create New and enter the required information in the Shipping window.
  3. To activate a shipping method:
    1. Click the link in the Item Number column for the shipping method.

      The Shipping window opens.

    2. Select the Active check box.
    3. (Optional) Update other information in the Shipping window.
    4. Click Save to close the Shipping window.
  4. To map a shipping method:
    1. Click the Map Partners link for the shipping method.

      The Partner Mapping window opens.

    2. Click the Edit link for the partner (Eyefinity-ABB or Eyefinity-Fait or Eyefinity-CLX).
    3. Enter the mapping code provided by your ABB/Fait/CLX representative in the appropriate code fields.
    4. Click Update.
    5. Click Return to close the Partner Mapping window.
  5. To price a shipping method:
    1. Click the Pricing link for the shipping method.

      The Pricing window opens.

    2. Enter the shipping fee for the shipping method in the Price field.
    3. Click Save to close the Pricing window.
