Adding Inventory Adjustments in AcuityLogic POS

To add inventory adjustments

  1. Open the Adjustments window. See Opening the Adjustments Window in AcuityLogic POS.
  2. Click Add Adjustments.
  3. Select Frame or Accessory in the Item Type drop-down list. AcuityLogic currently does not support inventory adjustments for contact lenses.
  4. Enter notes for the inventory adjustment in the Notes field, if needed.
  5. Click the Insert icon () to add the inventory adjustment.
  6. Click Add Activity to add items to the inventory adjustment.
  7. Add items to the inventory adjustment using one of the following methods:
    • Click the Lookup icon and use the search criteria on the Stock Item Search window to select an item.

      AcuityLogic populates the details for the selected item.

    • Click inside the UPC Code field and scan the bar code or enter the UPC code for an item you have in stock.

      AcuityLogic populates the details for the scanned item.

  8. Enter the inventory adjustment quantity in the Quantity field.
    You must enter a negative value for negative inventory adjustments.
  9. Select a reason for the inventory adjustment in the Adjustment Reason drop-down list.
  10. Click the OK icon () and click OK in the dialog box that opens to add the item to the inventory adjustment.
