Creating Lab Orders through VisionWeb
You can transmit eyeglass orders through VisionWeb by following the usual ordering procedure in AcuityLogic POS. However, VisionWeb cannot transmit any Frame Only or Extras Only orders, so those orders must be submitted manually.
Each lab that you send orders to through VisionWeb has two different listings in the Lab drop-down list, each with one of the following suffixes:
- Lab Automatic Orders: Select this lab to send the order to the lab automatically through VisionWeb.
- Lab Manual Orders: Select this lab to send the order to the lab manually, either by fax or phone.
If you select the Automatic Orders lab, a green status icon appears on the Orders window to indicate that the order was sent successfully. If the order was not sent successfully, a message that the order failed appears on the Orders window, and you must submit the order manually.
