Updating Order Status for Multiple Orders

You can update the order status of multiple patient orders in the WIP section of AcuityLogic POS. The WIP section includes a Bar Code tab and a Batch tab. In the Bar Code tab, you can update the order status for patient orders to Received, Notified or Delivered. In the Batch tab, you can update the order status for patient orders to Received or Notified.

To update the order status for multiple orders

  1. Click WIP in the left column of menu options.

    The Login window opens.

  2. Select your name from the Associate drop-down list, type your password in the Password field, and click Login.

    The Bar Code tab opens.

  3. Update order statuses using one of the following methods:
    • In the Bar Code tab, scan the bar code for an order, click OK, and click Receive, Notify, or Deliver.
    • In the Batch tab, select Receive or Notify from the Action drop-down list, scan the bar code for all the orders you want to update statuses for, and click Perform.
      If you are not using a bar code scanner, enter order numbers in the Order Number field manually.
