Viewing Your E-Time Records

To view your E-Time records

  1. Open the Associates window. See Opening the Associate Window.
  2. Click the ETime tab.
  3. In the tab, use the date field’s arrow buttons to specify the end date of the week whose records you want to view.
  4. In the ETime Associates table, click the plus sign next to your name.
  5. In the Etime Week subtable, your hours are displayed:
    • Regular: Total adjusted regular hours up to 40.
    • OverTime: Total adjusted regular hours over 40.
    • Other: Total of all hour types except Regular.
    • Total: Total of all hour types.
    • If your name is red, your In/Out time entries contain an error (for example, an In entry might not have a corresponding Out entry).
    • If you have not entered time for the week, the subtable displays this message: “No child records to display.”
  6. In the Associate column, click the link for your name.
  7. In the Details table, review the following columns:
    • Day: Lists the days of the week specified in step 3. Days you logged hours are displayed as blue or red links. Red links indicate an error, such as an In entry that does not have a corresponding Out entry.
    • Regular: Shows the total standard hours you logged each day. By default, all hours are categorized as regular.
    • Adjust: Shows any hours added to or subtracted from the regular hours.
    • Reason: Shows the reason for the adjustment.
    • Hours2, Hours3: Show hours that your company does not categorize as regular, such as bereavement and sick leave.
    • Type2, Type3: Show nonregular hour types.
    • Total (column): Shows the total hours of all types recorded for each day.
    • Log: Contains an active View link for each day if adjustments were made to the day’s hours. Clicking the link displays the Log window, which tracks adjustments for the day.
    • Total (row): Shows the total hours for each column that contains hours.
    You cannot click on the Total label and you cannot edit the total hours at the bottom of each column.
  8. To view any notes, click Show/Add Notes.
  9. To close the notes field, click Hide Notes.
  10. To close the Details window, click Cancel.
