Customizing Your Preferences

Your overall user preferences can be adjusted using the web application. To access your preferences, click Preferences in the top right corner of the screen under your user name.

The following preferences can be edited from this screen:

  • Protocols. Manage protocols, which are sets of predefined documentation you can use to quickly chart your most frequently seen types of exams. For more information, see Working With Protocols.
  • My Compounds. Create and manage compound medications that you can prescribe to your patients and send to compounding pharmacies.
  • My Information. Enables you to edit the email address, date of birth, and mobile phone number (optional) associated with your user account. Having an email address and date of birth on file is important for you to be able to reset your password if you get locked out of your account.
  • My Electronic Signatures. Upload a scanned copy of your signature to include on printed glasses and contact lens prescriptions. Whether you scan and upload your signature through the Eyefinity EHR web-based app or you draw your signature within the iPad app, your signature will be available in both. For more information, see Adding Your Signature to Eyewear and Contact Lens Prescriptions (Web).
  • My Preferred Facilities. Use the drop-down list in this section to select any facilities you currently work at. You can set a facility as your default facility by clicking Make Default.

  • My Preferred Rooms. If you're using OfficeFlow, this is where you can set the rooms that you work out of, enabling you to easily track when patients are ready for you. For more information, see Using OfficeFlow.
  • My Preferred Billers. Enables you to select your Preferred Billers. Your name should always be included in this section.
  • My Preferred Attendees. Enables you to select your Preferred Attendees, or the scribes and technicians you work with most frequently.
  • My Preferred Medical Domains. This setting should not be edited.
  • My CVF Layout Preference. Use this section to toggle how binocular data is displayed in Eyefinity EHR (i.e. OD / OS vs. OS / OD).
  • My Vision Exam Layout. Enables you to customize the order and visibility of sections within the Vision Exam.
    • Drag a section by the bars on the right hand side to reorder it.
    • Click the red minus button to hide a section. Hidden sections will appear down below in the Hidden Sections box.
    • You can restore visibility of sections in the Hidden Sections box by clicking the green plus button.
