Recording the Plans

Based on the diagnosis you selected, the Plans section shows a list of plans related to the diagnosis. You can select one or more plans from the list.

To record the plans

1. Open the patient’s visit note.
2. Click Ocular Exam on the Action Bar.

   The Ocular Exam Room appears.

   In the Plans section, Popular Plans displays your most commonly used plans for the diagnosis.

3. Select from the Popular Plans or scroll through the list and select another plan.

   To search for a plan by name, enter the first few letters of the plan name in the Search box. Eyefinity EHR searches only the plans associated with the diagnosis.
   
   In the Plans list, you can hide plans you don’t use. Click the gear icon on the right side of the button for the plan you want to hide. Choose if you want to Hide this plan for this impression only or Hide this plan for all impressions. The plan will be listed in the Hidden Plans section of the Plans list. To show a hidden plan, scroll to the bottom of the Plans list and click Hidden Plans. Select the plan you want to show, and click Unhide.
   
   For no-charge visits, select the No Charge Visit plan.

   The Details screen appears. The Details screen differs based on the plan you select. For more information, see Entering Details for Common Plans.

4. Enter the details for the plan, and click Done.

   The Ocular Exam Room appears.

5. Select another plan, or click Save Visit Note to save your changes.
