Selecting the Exam Set
You can access an exam set and record your findings from the Ocular Exam Room.
- Open a patient visit.
- Click the Ocular Exam button on the Action Bar.
The Ocular Exam Room opens.
- Under Exam, click Perform Exam.
The Select Exam Set window opens.
The tabs across the top of the screen show various types of exam sets. Each tab opens a list of pre-defined exams.
-
Select one of the exam sets. (To perform a routine exam, click Eye Exam.)
The Eye Exam Details screen opens. You can navigate between different sections of the exam using the tabs at the top of the screen. For more information, go to Recording Findings in the Eye Exam.
The filters at the top of the screen can be used to turn various sections of the eye exam on and off. As an example, if you want to turn off the slit lamp, discs, or fundus sections of the exam, click off for the appropriate section. If you're performing a complete eye exam, you don't need to use filters.
The Advanced Mode filter enables you to search for and manually document findings by typing them in. For more information, go to Using Advanced Mode.
