Configuring Your Print Settings for Blank Forms

If you need to print information to special form paper, like prescription blanks, you need that information to fit within the preprinted form fields. While this can appear to be an impossible task, many printing problems can be resolved through your browser's print options. Here's what to do in Firefox and Chrome, other browsers may vary slightly:

1. Click Print to print the document.

   Your browser's displays a print dialog.

2. Click the Destination drop-down and select the printer in which the form paper has been fed.
3. Click More Settings to reveal advanced options.
4. Locate the Scale options, and set the Scale to 100%.

   The default Scale is usually Fit to Paper, which often causes misalignment in forms.

5. Click Print.

   The document prints and the Scale setting is saved for the next time you print.
