Viewing and Documenting Keratometry Readings

Here's how to enter keratometer Instrument used to measure the curvature of the eye. The measurement is recorded in diopters or in millimeters of the radius. This instrument does not produce color maps; it is primarily used to determine the fit of contact lens. readings in the web application.

1. Open the Vision Exam. To learn how, go to Opening the Vision Exam.
2. Click the Keratometry tab along the left side.

   If you have a keratometer integrated with Encompass, the Keratometry tab may be automatically populated with readings from the keratometer.

3. If you need to add keratometry readings manually, enter the Keratometry readings for the right and left eye.
4. Click Save.
