Sending Fees from the Visit Overview (Web)

Fees are automatically sent to the practice management system when you finalize a visit; however, you can also manually send the fees to your practice management system.

You can only send fees once per visit. If you manually send fees to the practice management system and later finalize the visit, the fees are not resent to the practice management system.

To send fees, the user must have billing privileges assigned in administration. For more information, go to Editing User Demographics.

  1. Open a patient visit. To learn how, go to Creating or Opening a Visit (Web).
  2. Click theIntegrationstab at the top of the action bar.

    When fees are available to send, the Send Charges button is active.

  3. Click Send Chargeson the action bar.

    The “Chart Note Updated” banner appears briefly at the top of the page.
