Recording Color Vision Tests in the Visit Overview (Web)
You can document color vision tests within the vision exam in the Visit Overview.
The Visit Overview enables you to record test results for such conditions as glaucoma, macular degeneration, and color blindness. What do you want to do?
Enter color vision test results
- Open a patient visit. To learn how, go to Creating or Opening a Visit (Web).
- Locate the Vision Summary section, click Add Tests, and select Color Vision.
- If the test result was normal, tap Mark as Normal.
- If the test result was abnormal, select Abnormal in the drop-down menu.
- Select the Test Type in the drop-down menu.
- Enter the results for the right and left eye.
- Select check boxes corresponding with any plates the patient missed.

Select the Farnsworth results for the right and left eye, as needed.
- Type Additional Color Vision Notes, as needed.
- Click Save.
