Viewing Refraction History and Importing Refractions in the Visit Overview (Web)
You can quickly view the patient's past refraction data from any of the refraction, contact lens, and eyeglass screens. Additionally, you can import any of these past refractions into the current visit and then adjust any numbers that may have changed.
What do you want to do?
View Refraction History
- Open a patient visit. To learn how, go to Creating or Opening a Visit (Web).
- Locate the Vision Summary section, click Add Tests, and select any one of the following options:
- Auto Refraction (ARx)
- Refractions (MRx/CRx)
- Contact Lenses
- Click the Refraction History button.
The Refraction History screen opens.
- Select the Glasses, Soft CL, or Specialty Contact Lenses tab depending on the refractions you want to see.
Import a Refraction
The process below only applies to prescriptions of the same type (previous eyeglass prescriptions can be imported into a new refraction for eyeglasses). - Open a visit and view refraction history. To learn how, go to View Refraction History.
- Select a refraction and tap Import.
The refraction is imported into the refractions, contact lenses, or eyeglasses screen.
- Edit the refraction as needed and tap Save.
Import an Eyeglass Prescription to a Soft Contact Lens Prescription
- Open a patient visit. To learn how, go to Creating or Opening a Visit (Web).
- Locate the Vision Summary section, click Add Tests, and select Soft Contact Lenses.
- Select options from the Manufacturer and Product drop down menus.
- Click Spec Rx Import.
- Click Save when finished.
