Integrating Eyefinity EHR and ECR Vault
ECR Vault Capture enables you to scan, attach, and view electronic documents in Eyefinity EHR. This page explains how to use the Eyefinity EHR and ECR Vault integration feature.
Enabling the ECR Vault Integration in Eyefinity EHR
- Log in to the Eyefinity EHR web application as an administrator.
- Locate the 3rd Party Imaging Integrations group and click Manage.
- Scroll down to locate ECR Vault Settings.
- Select the v8.0 URL Configuration option.
- Enter the URL of your ECR Vault login page in the text box.
- Click Save.
Accessing ECR Vault Capture to Scan Documents
- Select the patient whose documents you want to scan.
- In the Patient Chart, click the link for the Visit to which you want to attach the document.
- In the Visit Note - Preliminary window, click the Integrations tab.
- Click ECR Vault Capture.
The ECR Vault Capture window opens. For information about scanning documents using ECR Vault Capture, refer to the ECR Vault User Guide.
Accessing ECR Vault Client to View Documents
- Select the patient whose documents you want to view.
- In the Patient Chart, click the link for the Visit to which the document is attached.
- In the Visit Note - Preliminary window, click the Integrations tab.
- Click ECR Vault Review.
The ECR Vault Client window opens. For information about searching for and viewing documents using ECR Vault Client, refer to the ECR Vault User Guide.
If ECR Vault is integrated with your practice management system, all your scanned documents are accessible from both practice management and Eyefinity EHR.
