Capturing CenterVue Images

  1. In Eyefinity EHR, create a visit note, or open a preliminary note.
  2. Click the Integrations tab.
  3. Click Equipment Interfaces.
  4. Select the CenterVue capture option. If you gave the equipment a nickname in the Eyefinity Equipment Interface Setup window, that name appears in this list.

    The CenterVue Capture window opens with the patient’s last name, first name, middle initial, gender, date of birth, and patient ID preloaded from Eyefinity EHR.

  5. Depending on whether the patient is found, perform one of the following procedures.
    If . . . Then . . .

    The patient is found in the CenterVue equipment

    1. Use the CenterVue equipment to capture the necessary images.
    2. In Eyefinity EHR, click Exit or Done in the CenterVue Capture dialog box.

    The patient is not found, but you believe the patient has a record in the CenterVue equipment

    1. Note the OfficeMate Patient ID. Select and copy it if necessary.
    2. Click View Patients.

      The DRS console opens.

    3. Search for the patient, and click the patient’s name.
    4. Click the Edit icon.
    5. Enter the OfficeMate Patient ID in the Code field.
    6. Click Save.
    7. Use the CenterVue equipment to capture the necessary images.
    8. In Eyefinity EHR, click Exit or Done in the CenterVue Capture dialog box.

    The patient is not found

    1. Click Create New Patient.

      The relevant demographic data is transferred to the CenterVue DRS equipment.

    2. Use the CenterVue equipment to capture the necessary images.
    3. In Eyefinity EHR, click Exit or Done in the CenterVue Capture dialog box.

    The Eyefinity EHR equipment interface displays a dialog box when the transfer is complete.

  6. Click OK.
  7. Click Close to close the blank browser window.

    The Equipment Integration dialog box opens.

  8. Click Close.

    The data you captured appears in the Eyefinity EHR window.

    If the data does not appear, press F5 to refresh the window.
