EyeScape Interface
Eyefinity EHR interacts with Synemed EyeScape Digital Imaging Systems as follows:
- Before the capture process when patient information is transferred from Eyefinity EHR into EyeScape to create or update retinal images
- During the review process when new or existing EyeScape retinal images are available for on-screen review
The EyeScape interface saves images to a folder.
When an image is captured using the interface, Eyefinity EHR launches the Eyescape software within the patient exam to enable you to review the captured image.
Network Connection Method
The EyeScape interface uses a serial RS-232 cable or a null modem to connect to the computer. The EyeScape interface can use only one camera per Terminal Server.
- You must install Eyefinity Equipment Interface and the EyeScape software on the computer to which the EyeScape equipment is connected. You then can install the EyeScape software on the server on which Eyefinity EHR is installed. Contact Synemed to determine whether the EyeScape software runs on an OS server and whether additional licensing is required to use EyeScape with Terminal Server.
- Back up your EyeScape data. Contact Synemed for recommended backup procedures
