Setting Up the Huvitz Interface

You must set up the Huvitz interface from the computer connected to the Huvitz equipment.

  1. Double-click the Eyefinity Equipment Interface Setup icon on your computer desktop.

    The Eyefinity Equipment Interface Setup window opens.

  2. Click Add.
  3. Select the Huvitz manufacturer and one of the following devices:
    • CLM-3000 (Lensmeter)
    • CLM-3000P (Lensmeter)
    • CLM-3100 (Lensmeter)
    • CLM-4000 (Lensmeter)
    • HLM-7000 (Lensmeter)
    • MRK-3100 (Auto Refractor Keratometer)
    • MRK-3100P (Auto Refractor Keratometer)
    • HRK-7000 (Auto Refractor Keratometer)
    • HRK-8000 (Auto Refractor Keratometer)
    • DRS-3100 (Auto Phoropter)
    • HDR-7000 (Auto Phoropter)
    • CDR-3100 (Auto Phoropter)
  4. Click Add.

    The settings and options appear.

  5. (Optional) Enter a Device Nickname.
  6. (Lensmeter or Auto Refractor Keratometer) Specify how to export device data:
    • Use Serial Port β€”To use a serial port connection, select a COM Port (communication port) and a Baud Rate (default is 9600) from the drop-down lists.
    • Export Data to a File (DRS, HDR, CDR devices only) β€” To export data to a file, click Browse, and select a Test Folder to copy data files to.

      Select a File Extension (default is .dat) to specify the type of file to export.

      Select an empty folder on your network that is not used by any other application, including Huvitz. If the folder contains files, they will be deleted during the integration and data transfer.
  7. (Auto Phoropter) Specify where to export device data:
    1. Click Browse, and select the HDR-Mate Export Folder configured in HDR-Mate for the device.
    2. Do not change the File Prefix, which is set to P.
    3.  Do not change the File Extension, which is set to .csv.
  8. Click Save.
  9. Close the Eyefinity Equipment Interface Setup window.
