Capturing iMACAM Images

1. Ensure that Eyefinity EHR is open.
2. Create a blank exam, or open a saved exam for an existing patient.

   You must record the patient’s date of birth in Eyefinity EHR before opening the iMACAM Capture program.

3. In the Eyefinity EHR chart window, click the Interfaces icon.
4. Select Imacam:Capture.

   The Match/Confirm EMR Record window opens.

   If the patient’s information is not already stored in iMACAM Capture, the patient’s name, gender, and date of birth are loaded into it from Eyefinity EHR. If the patient’s information is already stored in iMACAM Capture, the patient’s information in the iMACAM Capture database is displayed.

5. Click OK, and follow the iMACAM Capture instructions to capture the patient’s retinal images.
6. Close iMACAM Capture to return to Eyefinity EHR.

   In the patient exam, the iMACAM Advanced icon appears on the Images - Drawings tab under the Images, Drawings and Graphics category bar.
