Configuring and Accessing Quick View
Quick View is a patient specific information panel that is visible from the patient chart, visit overview, and virtual exam room. Once configured, it can be used to quickly display a patient's medical conditions, allergies, orders, results, and attachments. Configuration for Quick View can be done within practice settings and at the user level within the preferences screen.
What do you want to do?
Configure Quick View as an Administrator
- Log in to the Encompass web application as an administrator.
- Navigate to the Quick View section.
- Select or deselect the Enable Quick View check box to enable or disable Quick View for the practice.
- If enabled, select at least one section to be displayed on the Quick View Panel and click Save.
Access Quick View on the Web
The information displayed on the Quick View panel is read-only. Only the sections that you have selected in Preferences will be displayed.
- Open a patient chart, visit overview, or virtual exam room and click the arrow on the top right corner of the screen.
- View the patient's medications, allergies, orders, results, and attachments.
Access Quick View on the iPad
The information displayed on the Quick View panel is read-only. Only the sections that you have selected in Preferences will be displayed.
