Enabling Touch ID and Face ID
You can use your fingerprint or your face to securely log into the Eyefinity EHR app. Eyefinity EHR leverages the Touch ID and Face ID features in iPadOS and iOS to enable you sign in using your fingerprint or face rather than tapping your username and password. This section tells you how
Logging in with your fingerprint or face requires an iPad that supports Touch ID or Face ID. All late model iPads include either the Touch ID sensor on the Top button (or Home button) or Face ID through the front-facing camera.
Touch ID allows you to store multiple fingerprints (e.g., thumb and index finger). Although, you could use Touch ID to store the fingerprints of multiple individuals in your practice, Eyefinity strongly recommends against it. All Touch ID fingerprints will be associated with one Eyefinity EHR practice URL and user account per iPad. This means that anyone with a fingerprint saved on your iPad could access your Eyefinity EHR account.
