Setting Patient Portal Intramail Search Preferences

You can select from multiple configuration options for how your patients can search for IntraMail recipients in the Patient Portal. The following options are available:

  • Allow type-to-search only
  • Allow search and display 10 pre-populated IntraMail-enabled staff groups/members
  • Allow search and display all IntraMail-enabled staff groups/members

Follow the steps below to select or update patient IntraMail search preferences.

  1. Log in to the Encompass web application as an administrator.
  2. Navigate to the Manage Patient Portal Features section.
  3. Select Manage Intramail Settings.
  4. Make a selection in the Default Contact Search Preference in the web Patient Portal section.
