Clearing the iPad App Cache
The Eyefinity EHR iPad app may store some information temporarily in memory on your iPad. This temporary storage is known as cache and is used to improve performance of the app. By saving some information in local memory, the app is able to access that data more quickly, bypassing the need to download the data again and again as you move through an exam. Typically this cache is cleared as soon as you close a patient's chart; however, the cache may not get cleared if the app crashes. This leftover cache may cause the app to behave unexpectedly.
If your Eyefinity EHR app is behaving strangely, clearing the cache is the best first troubleshooting step. Here's how to clear the cache:
- Tap the Account action bar icon and select Settings.
- Tap Clear Cache.
If the cache shows 0 KB, there's no data in the cache to clear.
- Tap Save.
