Managing Patient Portal Update Notifications
When patients change their medications, allergies, medical history, ocular history, and social history an intramail message is sent to a staff group in your practice, notifying them to review the changes. To designate which staff group receives this notification, go to Managing Staff Groups.
Depending on the size of the practice, this group could receive dozens of intramail notifications each day. Instead of receiving an intramail message for each patient who updates their records, you can receive one daily digest listing all the changes made in the previous 24 hours. Here's how:
- Log in to the Encompass web application as an administrator.
- Locate and expand the Manage Patient Portal Features group.
- Click Manage Intramail Settings.
- Select Yes to choose the daily digest. Or, select No to choose individual intramail messages.
