Understanding the Difference between the App and the Training App

This page explains the difference between the Encompass and the Encompass training iPadOS apps.

The Eyefinity EHR app is the app you should use in your production environment—it's the app you should use while seeing patients. The practice URL for this app is [practice].eyefinityehr.com (where [practice] is your Encompass practice domain). This is the same URL you use to access Encompass on the web.

The Eyefinity Training app is a special app that you should use exclusively with your training environment. The URL for this app is [practice].eyefinnityehrtraining.com. This is the same URL you use to access your training sandbox on the web.

These apps are not interchangeable. In other words, you should not connect the Training app to your production environment because this will cause errors.
