Importing Images
Once a diagnostic imaging device is integrated with Image Management, the device will send the images you take to your workstation and then to your practice’s secure cloud. Images then appear at your fingertips when you access Image Management in Eyefinity EHR.
Identifying Patients
In order for images to transmit successfully, Eyefinity EHR needs to know what patient the images belong to. Make sure the following demographic fields match on both your device and Eyefinity EHR:
- First name
- Last name

Date of birth
First name and last name are case-sensitive.
Errors in any of the above fields will prevent images from transmitting to the correct patient's chart and, in some cases, may even cause images to end up in the wrong patient's chart.
