Navigating Image Management on the iPad
While you can use Image Management through the iPad app or the web-based application, there are slight differences in navigation and functionality. Watch the following video or take a look at the information below to learn more.
The Image Management screen is separated into three main sections.
A. Navigation Bar
The Navigation Bar displays demographic information to help you identify you're working with the correct patient. The Navigation Bar also has the following buttons:
Close. Closes Image Management and returns you to the Patient Chart.
New Study. Opens a new study, enabling you to upload photos or select take external photos from the iPad camera roll.
B. Image Tray
The Image Tray displays a chronological record of all images taken for a patient. The newest images are displayed first, and the oldest images are displayed last. Navigate the Image tray by viewing, selecting, and comparing images as described below.
Viewing Images
- Tap an image to expand it to a full screen.
- Swipe left or right along a row to reveal additional images from a particular day.
- Swipe up or down to see additional studies.
Selecting Images
- Tap the radio button in the lower-left corner of an image tile. You can select multiple images from multiple studies.
- Tap Select All to select all the images within a particular study.
Comparing Images
- Select the images you wish to compare, within a study or across multiple studies, tap the Select Action drop-down and select Compare.
- Tap View Proofsheet to create a proof sheet displaying all images for the selected exam.
Adding Images
Tap Add Images to upload photos or select take external photos from the iPad camera roll.
