Updating Contact Lens Base Attributes

Before any contact lens can be recorded on a note in Eyefinity EHR and billed on a fee slip in OfficeMate, you must assign a base attribute to the contact lens products that you imported during the migration.

If you're using Eyefinity Practice Management, you may disregard the following steps as your contact lens database updates automatically.

To set contact lens base attributes

  1. Open OfficeMate Administration.
  2. Click the Products icon and select Product Maintenance.
  3. Select Contact Lenses from the Product Type drop-down list.
  4. Select a contact lens manufacturer from the Manufact drop-down list.
  5. Click Search.
  6. Click Continue>>.
  7. Select the Lens Cat./Base check box in the Change Attributes section.
  8. Select Soft Sphere from the Attributes drop-down list.
  9. Click Save and Continue.

    A dialog box informs you when the update is completed.

  10. Click OK.
  11. Repeat steps 4-10 for each contact lens manufacturer.
