Amending a Visit on the iPad

If a visit note has been finalized and you need to add or change information on the chart, you cannot change the information directly; however, you can add a note to the patient’s chart as an amendment.

To amend a visit from the patient’s chart

1. Open the patient’s chart.
2. On the Notes tab, tap Amend for the visit you want to change.

   The Chart Note Amendment window appears.

3. Enter the Note Amendment Title and Note Amendment Body.
4. Tap Save to add the amendment to the visit note.
