Converting 99 Codes to 92 Codes on the iPad
Eyefinity EHR defaults to the 92 code (vision code or eye code) as long as your documentation supports the vision code. If the exam documentation doesn't support a vision code, you won't see the conversion button.
- Navigate to the Visit Overview screen.
- Tap the 99 vs. 92 Code button in the billing section.
A comparison of the 99 code and 92 code appears. The amount displayed is an estimate based off of the national average for reimbursements. It is not necessarily the amount you will be reimbursed.
If you don't see the 99 vs. 92 Code button, the exam may not contain all the elements of documentation that are required to generate a vision billing code.
- Select the code you want to use.
The following elements are required to generate a vision code in Eyefinity EHR.

1 Required for intermediate exams. You can still generate a code for comprehensive exams without it.
