Using Advanced Mode on the iPad
Advanced Mode is a filter in the eye exam set that enables you to easily search for and manually document findings instead of selecting them from the list. You can also document custom findings by typing them in and selecting Add. You can toggle Advanced Mode on and off at any time without losing data you've documented, including customer findings.
Advanced Mode also collapses several of the exam tabs into two tabs:
- Ext/Ant Seg (includes data fields found under the External, Conj, K, AC/Iris, and Lens tabs)
- Post Seg (includes data fields found under the Discs and Fundus tabs)
These collapsed tabs allow you to swipe rather than having to tap through each individual tab.
When you toggle Advanced Mode on or off, the tab changes take effect the next time you enter the ocular exam room.
To make the most of Advanced Mode on your iPad, use a Bluetooth keyboard.
