Viewing Progress Notes on the iPad

As you record the diagnoses, findings, and plans for a patient, you may want to get an overview of all of the information that has been entered for the patient during this visit, including the history, eye exam, and ocular exam.

To view progress notes for a patient

1. Access the Ocular Exam Room.
2. Tap the Progress Notes tab.

   The Progress Notes appear as a PDF file.

   The Progress Note shows the patient history, eye exam, and ocular exam data that has been recorded for the patient for this visit.

3. Scroll through the pages to review the progress note. Unpinch your fingers to enlarge the progress note. Pinch your fingers to reduce the size of the progress note.
4. Tap the Progress Note tab to close the progress notes.
