Setting the Automatic Logout Time for Inactivity

Eyefinity EHR automatically logs out idle users. The default is 60 minutes of inactivity. Here's how to change it.

1. Log in to the Eyefinity EHR web application as an administrator.
2. Locate and expand the Automatic Logout Interval card.

   The card displays the current logout interval.

3. Click Update Automatic Logout Interval.
4. Enter the number of minutes of inactivity allowed before users are automatically logged out.

   The logout interval must be between 1 and 120 minutes. Choose a time that balances security with users' need to access records. For example, setting a time too low could cause doctors to be logged out in the middle of an exam.

5. Click Save.
